Healing Beyond Abuse: Group Trauma Recovery for Women and Mothers
Grounded in trauma-informed, evidence-based practice, our Four Pillar Group Supports are the first of their kind—designed to break the isolation survivors so often face and create a community where women truly support one another in forward movement. Unlike the reactive, crisis-driven systems survivors are often forced to navigate, these groups are innovative, creative, and focused on building your life—and your children’s life—away from the chaos, even in the midst of years of court-mandated contact with an abuser.
Each group blends psychoeducation, skill-building, and peer support to promote immediate coping and long-term recovery:
-
Rooted & Resilient Moms — For mothers rebuilding after separation. Integrating evidence-based strategies for post-traumatic growth, self-regulation, and co-regulation with children, this group focuses on restoring stability, safety, and a shared sense of hope for the future.
-
Edge of Enough — For women questioning the health of their relationship and ready to stop minimizing their pain. Using clinically validated frameworks on boundary-setting, emotional safety, and the identification of abuse patterns, participants learn to articulate their needs and protect their well-being.
-
From Silence to Strength — For women in the early stages of leaving or navigating coercive control. With psychoeducation on trauma responses, legal system navigation, and protective decision-making, this group helps women approach separation with clarity, strategy, and reduced risk.
-
Mothering Through Fire — For mothers actively parenting school-aged children in the midst of ongoing abuse. Clinically informed by attachment theory and child development research, this group equips moms to limit the impact of toxic dynamics, foster secure bonds, and model resilience for their children.
In this community, you’ll find more than validation—you’ll find an anchor. These pillars work together to meet you exactly where you are and guide you toward where you want to be, building a future defined not by the abuse, but by your vision for yourself and your children.
1
Rooted & Resilient Moms
For mothers rebuilding stability and identity after separation from an abusive partner. This group is grounded in evidence-based strategies for post-traumatic growth, nervous system regulation, and co-regulation with children. Together, we focus on anchoring into your values, reclaiming your peace, and building a home environment that fosters safety and emotional stability for both you and your children.
Unlike traditional post-divorce supports that respond only to crises, Rooted & Resilient Moms is designed to help you live forward—away from the chaos—while navigating the ongoing realities of court-mandated contact with an abuser. Here, you’ll find not only tools and strategies, but a community that understands the long-term impact of abuse and is committed to growing alongside you.
Through guided discussion, skill-building, and connection with other mothers on the same path, you’ll:
-
Develop daily rhythms that prioritize your healing and your children’s stability
-
Strengthen your confidence in parenting decisions despite outside interference
-
Learn how to maintain boundaries and reduce reactivity
-
Create a vision and actionable plan for your life beyond survival
You are not just surviving—you are taking root and building a resilient future for you and your children.
2
Edge of Enough
You’ve reached the point where keeping the peace feels more like losing yourself. Edge of Enough is a group designed for women who are ready to stop minimizing their reality and start naming it—out loud and without apology. Together, we’ll unpack the patterns, dynamics, and language of overfunctioning, so you can clearly identify what’s happening in your relationship.
Through guided discussions and practical tools, you’ll:
-
Identify your non-negotiables in a marriage or partnership
-
Learn to set and uphold boundaries without guilt
-
Name what you are experiencing—because clarity is power
-
Build a plan for what’s in your control, no matter what they choose to do
This is a space for truth-telling, safety, and strategy—not judgment. By the end of these four weeks, you’ll walk away with more than insight; you’ll have a personal framework for protecting your emotional, physical, and mental well-being, and the confidence to take your next step forward.

From Silence to Strength
This small-group support is for women preparing to leave an abusive or controlling marriage with their children—whether you’re still gathering information before meeting with an attorney or you’ve already begun the early legal process.
Before you take your next step, we focus on the groundwork that will protect your safety, support your children, and position you for clarity and strength in every decision ahead.

In this group, you will learn:

How to recognize and name patterns of coercive control and abuse—replacing confusion with clarity and confidence.
-
Real-time strategies to protect yourself and your children, both emotionally and logistically, before and during separation.
-
Key steps to take before and during the early legal process to safeguard records, minimize risks, and strengthen your position.
-
The importance of timing, documentation, and clear communication when working with attorneys, mediators, and other professionals.
-
How to prepare your children for transitions in ways that foster security, resilience, and trust in you as their safe parent.
-

This group isn’t about rushing decisions—it’s about preparing with precision, protecting what matters most, and stepping forward with a plan. You’ll leave each session with tangible action steps, a stronger understanding of the systems you’ll navigate, and a supportive network of women walking a similar path.
4
Mothering Through Fire
When you’re raising children while living in the shadow of domestic abuse—but you don’t qualify for a restraining order or emergency services—the isolation can feel crushing. Systems may tell you there’s not “enough” evidence, yet you know the harm is real, constant, and shaping both you and your children.

This group offers a safe, confidential space to learn strategies for:
-
Parenting in real time during ongoing abuse without escalating risk
-
Supporting your children’s emotional regulation and sense of safety
-
Recognizing and disrupting patterns of coercive control at home
-
Strengthening your clarity and confidence in decision-making
-
Creating protective, practical routines that help your family breathe amid the chaos

You’ll connect with other mothers who understand the invisible battles you face, without judgment or pressure to prove your reality. This is not about convincing anyone abuse is happening—it’s about equipping you and your children to navigate it together, one moment at a time.

Because even without legal protection, you still deserve tools, support, and the courage to keep showing up for your kids—and yourself.
